Whitney Houston to Appear on Oprah Winfrey

Whitney Houston is coming to Oprah Winfrey's famous couch.

The Grammy Award-winning singer, 46, whose much-anticipated upcoming album, I Look to You will be released Aug. 31, will sit down with the talk show queen for her first interview in almost seven years.

Calling it "the most anticipated music interview of the decade," Winfrey, 55, will welcome Houston as her first guest on the The Oprah Winfrey Show's 24th season, which airs Sept. 14.

Houston held listening parties for her album in L.A., N.Y.C. and London. The CD is her seventh studio album and marks a comeback after a seven-year hiatus from the business.

INSIDE STORY: The Reality Star and the Murdered Playboy Model

Nearly five months ago, Ryan Alexander Jenkins, a contestant on Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3 – and a real-life millionaire from Canada – impulsively married Playboy model Jasmine Fiore in Las Vegas.

Their move to Los Angeles, with the blond and buxom Fiore, 28, hoping to work in real estate or as a personal trainer while Jenkins, 32, traveled North America competing for money and another woman's attentions, could have been a reality show of its own.

But now the story has taken a deadly turn from escapist television fare: Fiore has been murdered, the Millionaire show has been pulled off the air, and Jenkins is an international fugitive.

"Her death is a tragedy," Buena Park, Calif., police Lt. Gary Worrall tells PEOPLE. "Our investigators have been working around the clock. Many of them haven't slept in a while."
Body in a Dumpster

It began, police say, when a nude female body was found stuffed in a suitcase in a Dumpster behind an apartment complex in Buena Park, an Orange County suburb south of Los Angeles, on Saturday, Aug. 15. That night, Jenkins called the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department to report Fiore missing, and by Monday the Orange County coroner confirmed the victim as Fiore, apparently strangled.

Now, police in the United States and Canada are scrambling to find Jenkins, a Calgary real estate salesman considered a "person of interest" in the murder. "We are aware that he is from Canada and there's a potential for him to go there," says Worrall. "We're concerned he might flee the country."

Worrall says that he was aware of some media reports that a representative for Jenkins promises he'll turn himself in; however, the police have received no such offer. Although not a familiar face, Jenkins does live on the fringes of fame.

Worth over $2 million, he appears in the current season of VH1's Megan Wants a Millionaire, in which wealthy suitors compete for the affections of Megan Hauserman a young lady with expensive tastes who has appeared on previous VH1 series Rock of Love 2, Charm School and I Love Money.
Show Goes Off the Air

In last weekend's episode, Jenkins won a one-on-one date with Megan, drove her in an Aston Marin DBS Coupe to an intimate dinner – and picked up the $1,500 tab. The pair also shared a passionate kiss. A "battle royale" between the finalists was scheduled to air this weekend.

But on Wednesday, VH1 had shut down most of their Web content connected with both shows, and pulled Megan Wants a Millionaire off the air. "Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim's family," says a statement from the network.

According to some media reports, Jenkins won $250,000 on I Love Money, in March. At around the same time, Jenkins met Fiore at a strip club, and the two were married two days later – on March 18, according to the Clark County, Nev., Recorder's Office (although Fiore's mother told reporters she doesn't believe a legitimate marriage took place.)

A Plea for Public's Help

Fiore, who also goes by the name Jasmine Kinkade, has modeled for radio personality Howard Stern, for Las Vegas hotels and for Playboy. Her mother told reporters her daughter also was interested in selling real estate and starting a personal training business.

Jenkins and Fiore were living in Los Angeles at the time of the murder. Worrall says he knows little about the nature of their relationship – only that they were last seen together Friday evening at a poker tournament in San Diego. According to TMZ, Fiore texted an ex-boyfriend that evening, offering to meet him in Las Vegas.

Later that evening, the ex got another text from Fiore's phone that said: "Suck it." The site also reports that Jenkins was convicted in 2007 of assaulting his girlfriend at the time.

For now, though, the case is a manhunt, with police calling for the public's help in finding the reality star fugitive or a luxury car he may be driving: Fiore' white Mercedes CLS550, with custom black trim including a black logo, or Jenkins's own black BMW X5.

Miley Cyrus’s brother disses Jonas Brothers!

Trace Cyrus, lead singer of rock band Metro Station and older brother of Miley Cyrus, is not ready to jump on the Jonas Brothers bandwagon.
Neither are we!

In an interview with Mens Style magazine (who?), Trace had some words to say about the Jonas Brothers’s image. He said “I’m not trying to clean my image to make anyone happy. I could have gone the route of the Jonas Brothers. Those guys can’t live their lives freely. They have to put out this image that’s totally fake.”

Interesting, seeing as how he is from an extremely rich family and tries to act like a broke indie rocker. Hmmmmm………Maybe he should get advice from The Jonas Brother’s. they seem to be doing a bit better than Metro Station.

Regardless, we love the battle of these tween/young adult pop-rock stars. Keeps it interesting because lord knows everything else about them is boring!

Jay Leno’s first guest revealed

As we told you before, Jay Leno is attempting to change the format of late night talk shows with his new The Jay Leno Show, which will be airing an hour earlier than conventional late night talk shows.

Having already announced the first musical guests (Jay-Z, Kanye West, & Rihana will perform together), he has now announced that his first guest will be beloved comedian Jerrry Seinfeld. Not a bad start to what should be an interesting show! We’ll see how the other late night shows handle the upcoming “guest-wars”, and which show will be able to land the best guests.

The show debuts September 14th.

Why Is Mariah Carey Canceling Events?

Reports that Mariah Carey has rescheduled several upcoming appearances has left many fans wondering if something might be wrong with the singer.

Carey, 40, had been tentatively set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Aug. 25, perform on Today Aug. 28, and also tape an episode of VH1's Storytellers.

But the singer's publicist Cindi Berger tells PEOPLE there is no reason for concern: "These dates have been postponed and not cancelled," she said Friday.

A source says the singer is completing her new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, the release of which has been pushed to Sept. 29.

"Record release dates change all the time," Berger confirms. "It's nothing unusual and it doesn't signal anything. There are a lot of moving parts to Mariah's professional life … She's making sure the record is how she wants it to be and its no big deal."

In addition to working on her album, Carey is launching another perfume line and promoting her upcoming film, Precious, which is produced by Oprah Winfrey and opens in November.

The reason for the calendar re-jiggering is explained further on Carey's official Website: "Mariah is putting the finishing touches on her newest album, and we have shifted all of our TV and promo appearances to coincide with the new release date of September 29th. We can't wait for the fans to hear the new album!!"

Susan Boyle Records First Song for New Album

Susan Boyle took time out from the Britain's Got Talent tour to record the first track on her planned album with Simon Cowell's team, who are clearly excited by what they heard. "She sounds fantastic on record," says Cowell.

"She's so good, the album is not just going to be show tunes. We're going to take our time with this." Boyle, 48, also visited the Sony Music offices in London last week to meet with executives, who are treating her gently.

Mindful of the pressures and subsequent hospitalization after she finished second in the Britain's Got Talent final, the label says she could walk away from the project any time she wants.

"There's no pressure on her to do this at all," an insider tells PEOPLE. Boyle missed a few dates on the tour, which ended Sunday. But she returned triumphantly and is expected to sing her to fans in three U.K. cities over the next three days.

Harry Potter Star Gets the Swine Flu

It seems that there's no magic spell against the swine flu. Rupert Grint, 20, who plays Harry Potter's pal Ron Weasley, caught the notorious bug while filming the latest movie in the wizard series but is now well enough to attend Tuesday's London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

"It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu," his rep says in a statement.

"He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards." Grint's doctor determined that the actor is not contagious, the rep adds.

Filmmakers of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows were able to shoot around Grint's absence and no production days were lost, the rep says.

Report: Jackson Bald, Bruised, Ribs Broken

Michael Jackson's body was in terrible shape and he had only pills in his stomach when he died, according to a report out of London.

Jackson's hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds, The Sun is reporting. The paper -- which claims to have details of the autopsy -- is saying Jackson was bald at the time of his death and suffered several broken ribs, probably from the failed attempts to revive him.

There were four "injection sites" found above or near his heart, according to the paper, where rescue workers reportedly shot adrenaline into his heart in an attempt to restart it.

The Sun also says the autopsy found unexplained bruising on Jackson's knees and on the fronts of both shins.

Britney Spears Goes Brunette !

It’s been awhile since Britney Spears has altered her signature sunny locks. But never one to shy away from change, the pop star stepped out over the weekend showing off longer and much darker hair. While we can’t tell for sure if Britney’s new look is for real or a wig, we think going dark still works for her. Our favorite Britney look is definitely blonde, but everyone needs a change sometimes! Tell us: What do you think of Britney’s new brunette do? Love it or hate it?

Joe, Janet Jackson Join BET Awards Tribute to Michael

Sunday's BET Awards at Los Angeles's Shrine Auditorium honored entertainers for their achievements last year and served as a tribute to Michael Jackson – whose father Joe Jackson and sister Janet Jackson were very visible at the event, only three days after the death of their son and brother.

Sporting a black hat, sunglasses and a dark suit, the patriarch of the Jackson family appeared on the red carpet and told CNN about Michael: "I wish the world had recognized him when he was living. Right now, he's bigger than ever. But I wish he was here to see all this, to hear all this." The memory of Michael dominated the gala. Host Jamie Foxx made his entrance in a red leather "Billie Jean" jacket. "No need to be sad. We want to celebrate this black man," said Foxx. "We gonna go through all of Michael Jackson." The host closed his opening monologue with his rendition of Jackson's signature Moonwalk. "I hope I can make it," said Foxx, adding that it was his first attempt at the fancy footwork since 1983.

Beyoncé's Tribute
Throughout the evening, entertainers, including R&B female artist of the year Beyoncé, paid tribute to Michael as his father sat in a ringside seat in the auditorium, next to Rev. Al Sharpton.

Beyoncé dedicated her award to Michael, whom she called "my teacher and hero." Award presenter Marlon Wayans, accompanied by Jeremy Piven, addressed Joe Jackson and said, "The Jacksons had a profound effect on my family. If it wasn't for the Jacksons there would be no Wayans. Thank you." Piven, meanwhile, joked, "If it wasn't for Michael Jackson, people like

Justin Timberlake would probably be selling curly fries in the [San Fernando] Valley." As some members of the audience groaned, Piven quickly interjected, "Said with love." LeBron James, collecting his best male athlete trophy, told the crowd, "My heart and prayers go out to the whole Jackson family. What they did for us ... was amazing."

Janet Speaks
At the close of the ceremony, Janet Jackson spoke publicly for the first time since Thursday about Michael. "My entire family wanted to be here tonight but it was too painful," she told the BET audience, including her father who stood and applauded from his seat. "To you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family. He will forever live in all of hearts.

Tearing up, she added, "On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all of your love, thank you for all of your support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much."

Debbie Rowe to Get Custody of Michael Jackson Children

At this time Katherine Jackson, the mother of Michael Jackson, is looking after Michael’s three children . Two of those children, Prince Michael (12) and Paris (11), may go to their biological mother Debbie Rowe. It was originally reported that Rowe lost her parental rights in a custody fight with Michael back in 2005, but it turns out that report was not accurate.

Debbie Rowe, the mother of Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, is their legal parent and can gain custody of them if she chooses, according to Rowe’s former attorney, Iris Finsilver. The question remains if Rowe will take the children, or if Katherine will keep them.

Retired Judge Stephen Lachs, who presided over the hearing, at first agreed to terminate them, but then Lachs changed his mind and returned the rights to her. "She lost them, and then she got them back," Finsilver says. Finsilver said she spoke to Rowe on Thursday but she cannot say what Rowe plans to do. "She was inconsolable."

Jackson family attorney Brian Oxman says Jackson’s mother, the family matriarch, would be a natural guardian for the kids, though it won’t be her decision. Oxman said: "Katherine is the logical choice, she has all the grandkids and nieces around her but it will be up to the courts. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more proceedings regarding the children."
Blanket (7) may stay with Katherine. Blanket’s surrogate mother has not been identified.

Michael Jackson’s Death: Still Waiting for Answers

Failing to shed light on the question which everyone wants answered, the cause of Michael Jackson’s death is still unknown following the completion of his autopsy by the L.A. County Coroner’s Office on Friday (June 26).

Explaining that more tests are necessary to determine the official cause of death, chief coroner investigator Craig Harvey said “the cause of death was deferred because additional tissue studies and testing—including toxicology, neuropathology, pulmonary and others—must be completed.”

Justin Timberlake Praises Michael Jackson's Genius

The sudden death of Michael Jackson jolted his friends and family, a second blow to the entertainment world after the loss of another pop icon, Farrah Fawcett, only hours earlier on Thursday. "We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop music but of all music," Justin Timberlake, who was clearly influenced by Jackson, wrote on his Web site.

"He has been an inspiration to multiple generations, and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones." "I can't stop crying over the sad news," Madonna says. "I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless."

Former Wife 'Heartbroken'Lisa Marie Presley, who was married to Jackson from 1994 to 1996, says, "I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible. I am heartbroken for his children, who I know were everything to him, and for his family. This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me."

In a long, heartfelt statement, Usher said he was "deeply saddened" by the loss and paid tribute to Jackson's legacy. "May God cover you Michael. We all lift your name up in prayer. I pray for the entire Jackson family particularly Michael's mother, children and all his fans that loved him so much. I would not be the artist, performer, and philanthropist I am today without the influence of Michael. I have great admiration and respect for him and I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to meet and perform with such a great entertainer, who in so many ways, transcended the culture.

He broke barriers, he changed radio formats! With music, he made it possible for people like Oprah Winfrey and Barack Obama to impact the mainstream world. His legacy is unparalleled. Michael Jackson will never be forgotten." "He was magic," said Beyoncé Knowles. He was what we all strive to be. He will always be the King of Pop!" On Friday, Chace Crawford said on Britain's GMTV that he heard the news while at a party hosted by Elton John at the musician's home just outside of London. When word got out, "It was … like an instant viral just spread," said Crawford. "It just instantly changed the energy of the party."

In a statement Thursday afternoon Britney Spears said, "I was so excited to see his show in London. We were going to be on tour in Europe at the same time and I was going to fly in to see him. He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I'm devastated he's gone!" Whitney Houston, who has battled her own demons and is on the verge of a comeback (just as Jackson was), released a statement saying simply, "I am full of grief," while Paul McCartney, who collaborated with Jackson at the height of his success, writes on his Web site: "I feel privileged to have hung out and worked with Michael. He was a massively talented boy man with a gentle soul. His music will be remembered forever and my memories of our time together will be happy ones."

Elizabeth Taylor 'Devastated'Elizabeth Taylor, one of Jackson's closest and longstanding friends, was "too devastated" to issue a statement, her rep says, while Quincy Jones, who produced Jackson's biggest hits, says, "I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news. For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don't have the words." Cher, calling in to Larry King Live on CNN, shared many memories of Jackson, including dancing together on the Queen Mary and seeing the musical Dreamgirls together. "I am having a million reactions," said Cher. "When I think of him, I think of this young boy, this teenager I first met …

He was a great teenager, optimistic and adorable." "My heart is overcome with sadness for the devastating loss of my true friend Michael," adds Brooke Shields, who raised eyebrows when she briefly dated Jackson. "He was an extraordinary friend, artist and contributor to the world. I join his family and his fans in celebrating his incredible life and mourning his untimely passing."

Madonna 'Can't Stop Crying' Over Jackson

One pop icon remembers another.

We've just heard from Madonna on Jackson's death:"I can't stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless."

Singer Michael Jackson dead at 50

Legendary pop star had been preparing for London comeback tour

Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the “King of Pop” and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday. He was 50.

An autopsy was planned for Friday, though results were not likely to be final until toxicology tests could be completed, a process that takes several days and sometimes weeks. Police said they were investigating — standard procedure in high-profile cases.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in the posh Los Angeles neighborhood of Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.

"It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known," his brother Jermaine said.
Cardiac arrest is an abnormal heart rhythm that stops the heart from pumping blood to the body. It can occur after a heart attack or be caused by other heart problems.
Jackson’s death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music’s premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album “Thriller” — which included the blockbuster hits “Beat It,” “Billie Jean” and “Thriller” — is the best-selling album of all time, with an estimated 50 million copies sold worldwide.

The public first knew him in the late 1960s, when as a boy he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the music group he formed with his four older brothers. Among their No. 1 hits were “I Want You Back,” “ABC” and “I’ll Be There.”

Ranked with Elvis, BeatlesHe was perhaps the most exciting performer of his generation, known for his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves and his high-pitched voice punctuated with squeals and titters. His single sequined glove, tight military-style jacket and aviator sunglasses were trademarks second only to his ever-changing, surgically altered appearance.

“For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don’t have the words,” said Quincy Jones, who produced “Thriller.” “He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I’ve lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him.”

Jackson ranked alongside Elvis Presley and the Beatles as the biggest pop sensations of all time. He united two of music’s biggest names when he was briefly married to Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie, and Jackson’s death immediately evoked that of Presley himself, who died at age 42 in 1977.

As years went by, Jackson became an increasingly freakish figure — a middle-aged man-child weirdly out of touch with grown-up life. His skin became lighter, his nose narrower, and he spoke in a breathy, girlish voice. He surrounded himself with children at his Neverland Ranch, often wore a germ mask while traveling and kept a pet chimpanzee named Bubbles as one of his closest companions.

“It seemed to me that his internal essence was at war with the norms of the world. It’s as if he was trying to defy gravity,” said Michael Levine, a Hollywood publicist who represented Jackson in the early 1990s. He called Jackson a “disciple of P.T. Barnum” and said the star appeared fragile at the time but was “much more cunning and shrewd about the industry than anyone knew.”

Jackson caused a furor in 2002 when he playfully dangled his infant son, Prince Michael II, over a hotel balcony in Berlin while a throng of fans watched from below.

In 2005, he was cleared of charges he molested a 13-year-old cancer survivor at Neverland in 2003. He had been accused of plying the boy with alcohol and groping him, and of engaging in strange and inappropriate behavior with other children.
The case followed years of rumors about Jackson and young boys. In a TV documentary, he had acknowledged sharing his bed with children, a practice he described as sweet and not at all sexual.
Despite the acquittal, the lurid allegations that came out in court took a fearsome toll on his career and image, and he fell into serious financial trouble.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born Aug. 29, 1958, in Gary. He was 4 years old when he began singing with his brothers — Marlon, Jermaine, Jackie and Tito — in the Jackson 5. After his early success with bubblegum soul, he struck out on his own, generating innovative, explosive, unstoppable music.

The album "Thriller" alone mixed the dark, serpentine bass and drums and synthesizer approach of "Billie Jean," the grinding Eddie Van Halen guitar solo on "Beat It," and the hiccups and falsettos on "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'."

The peak may have come in 1983, when Motown celebrated its 25th anniversary with an all-star televised concert and Jackson moonwalked off with the show, joining his brothers for a medley of old hits and then leaving them behind with a pointing, crouching, high-kicking, splay-footed, crotch-grabbing run through "Billie Jean."

The audience stood and roared. Jackson raised his fist.

During production of a 1984 Pepsi commercial, Jackson's scalp sustains burns when an explosion sets his hair on fire.

He had strong follow-up albums with 1987's "Bad" and 1991's "Dangerous," but his career began to collapse in 1993 after he was accused of molesting a boy who often stayed at his home. The singer denied any wrongdoing, reached a settlement with the boy's family, reported to be $20 million, and criminal charges were never filed.

Jackson's expressed anger over the allegations on the 1995 album "HIStory," which sold more than 2.4 million copies, but by then, the popularity of Jackson's music was clearly waning even as public fascination with his increasingly erratic behavior was growing.

Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley in 1994, and they divorced in 1996. Later that year, Jackson married Deborah Rowe, a former nurse for his dermatologist. They had two children together: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., known as Prince Michael, now 12; and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11. Rowe filed for divorce in 1999.

Jackson also had a third child, Prince Michael II. Now 7, Jackson said the boy nicknamed Blanket as a baby was his biological child born from a surrogate mother.
Billboard magazine editorial director Bill Werde said Jackson's star power was unmatched. "The world just lost the biggest pop star in history, no matter how you cut it," Werde said. "He's literally the king of pop."

Jackson's 13 No. 1 one hits on the Billboard charts put him behind only Presley, the Beatles and Mariah Carey, Werde said.

"He was on the eve of potentially redeeming his career a little bit," he said. "People might have started to think of him again in a different light."

Waiter Receives $4,000 Tip From Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp is the man. We have always believed this, but there can be no doubt after reading this story. Mohammed A. Sekhani, a veteran waiter at Chicago's legendary steakhouse Gibsons, was recently given a tip by the actor.

Of $4,000.

“Johnny and his party arrived just after 11:30 .p.m at the restaurant and requested a private room. He had visited several times before while he was filming Public Enemies and he promised me that he would return after the premiere," he recalled.

Sekhani says Johnny Depp and his party ordered appetizers as they prepared his favorite dish Clams Casino – clams baked with garlic, pepper and cheese.
Said Sekhani: “He also ordered some $500 bottles of Italian wine and he was in good spirits throughout the evening chatting with Mr. Mann and Ms. Cotillard."

"I have worked with a lot of stars like Sean Connery and Robert De Niro but Johnny Depp is my favorite. He is very soft spoken, very charming and sweet – when I wait for him he doesn’t like to be too fussed over and is not in any way demanding."
“Because he had visited us before he calls me ‘Mo’ and I know exactly the way he likes to be treated. He may be one of the most famous actors in the world but he is a very ‘humble guy’ and a really cool dude," the waiter continued.
Obviously, I was delighted with his tip but he has always been very generous every time that he has visited us here at Gibsons. When the party left around 2:30 he smiled and told me that he would return – they were a great group of people.”
Sounds like it.

Miley Cyrus: Working Weekends

Up bright and early to kick off a working weekend, Miley Cyrus was spotted arriving at a studio in Studio City, California on Saturday (May 2).

Wearing no make-up and looking fresh out of the shower, the Disney starlet was joined by her grandmother, Ruth, and pet pooch, Sofie, as the group made their way into the building’s entrance.

Clearly pleased at having such an early start to the day, Miley tweeted, “Working class hero is something to be.”

Meanwhile, Miss Cyrus also recently chimed out about celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, calling him a “mean” person.

“I don’t know how old he is, but taking it out on me is a little strange. It’s like going back to high school,” Miley tells. “I get to travel and go to London and Paris, while this person sits by the computer writing mean things about me. I’d rather be the one traveling.”

Father to Madonna: Don't Adopt My Daughter

The man believed to be the biological father of 4-year-old Chifundo "Mercy" James says he does not want Madonna adopting his daughter.

See other stars who have adopted.
"I want to take care of her, and I'm capable to take care of my baby," James Kambewa says in an interview with CBS News' The Early Show. "Mercy, she is a Malawian -- so [I] need her to grow as a Malawian as well with our culture."
Madonna's appeal in her attempt to adopt the girl will begin Monday, the same day that Kambewa's interview will air in a three-part series about the star's adoption process.
(After a judge rejected the singer's application to adopt Chifundo "Mercy" James earlier this month because she did not meet residency requirements, Alan Chinula, Madonna's Malawian lawyer, told Usmagazine.com last week they are "confident" things will work in their favor with the appeal.)

Look back on some of Madonna's biggest scandals.
Kambewa, who wears a necklace he made bearing his daughter's name, has never held or even met Mercy and says that he has only seen her "in newspapers and TV -- not face to face."
Madonna spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg said she doesn't know if Kambewa is the girl's father, the Associated Press reports.

Lucy Chekechiwa, Mercy's 61-year-old maternal grandmother, remains conflicted about who should care for the girl, whose single teenage mother died shortly after childbirth at the age of 18.

Zac Efron’s Mother Devastated

Zac Efron’s mother received news that her son had died.

A foreign newspaper wrote that the 20-year-old actor had been killed. Efron called his mother instantly to report his wellness. Zac’s mom was really upset about the false article.

The ‘High School Musical 3: Senior Year’ star does not think himself as a good dancer.

He told to The Sun , “I’m definitely not a dancer. I grew up being into sports and I wasn’t trained to move my body in the right way for dancing. I’m the last one to get any moves correct. In rehearsals it’s always, ‘OK, one more take for Zac.’ “

Hayden Panettiere shows off her tattoo

Hayden Panettiere showed off her tattoo at the LA premiere of Star Trek last night. She was presumably invited because Eyebrow Guy from Heroes plays Spock, or there's now a midget quota for Hollywood premieres.

I'll know for definite when Tom Cruise shows up to the opening of Transfomers 2 and, to no one's surprise, admits he's more of a Go-Bot fan.
